FFI Women Connect Fly Tying Webcast

FLY TYING WITH AL & GRETCHEN BEATTY
Al & Gretchen, both FFI Buszek Fly Tying Memorial Award recipients, will share their time and talents in this series on fly tying.  It’s a 5-week series that will be held on Tuesday starting June 23.  This series brought to you by FFI Women Connect.  They will tie the Hare’s Ear Nymph, an easy-to-tie nymph that can be modified to represent any bug by changing size, color, and body materials.

Next Meeting will be June 20th at Torrey Park

We are scheduling a meeting of the NBFF to be held Saturday, June 20th at 9:00 am at Torrey Park, 776 E Torrey Street, New Braunfels.   Bring a lawn chair and we will try to maintain safe distancing.

We need to elect officers for the next year.  The current board members have agreed to serve another term but nominations are encouraged if any one would like to serve.  We also need a director of education.

May Lunch Boxes are being packed up to mail out early next week. Each one includes 7 flies tied for carp specifically but other species will find them hard to resist as well. Just like last month, I tied a few variations of each pattern and will be hand-picking each assortment based off of what I know about fishing your area!
