Club Picnic

New Braunfels Fly Fishers celebrated the 2026 summer season with a family picnic. The picnic was held at the pavilion in River Chase. Approximately 35 club members and their families attended.
Hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, chips, cookies, homemade brownies and watermelon were served. It was a traditional summer picnic.
Phil Lambrecht conducted a fly casting competition. There were 13 participants. Phil won the tournament with Bob Blair coming in second. 1st and 2nd place finishers each won a fly box for their fine casting abilities.
There was also cornhole bean bags being tossed which was fun for all.
